Growing Lemons in Oregon?

Lemons are my favorite food...followed closely by avocados and chiles. I try to eat a lemon every day in one form or another. My favorite: lemon juice mixed into a good guacamole. As a child, I was lucky to live around lemon and avocado trees. My dad lived right in front of a lemon packing plant (yes, of course...Southern California). So here's to Big Yellow. Delicious. Nutritious. This picture of our Meyer lemon tree was taken in early fall. It's the second cold season for Big Yellow...and I have my fingers crossed. Will he be able to survive the Rogue Valley winters?
